this is the only way OUT of the AI wave (don’t miss it)

Confession:

I continue to binge watch Landman like an unemployed teenager with a 4th-period spare.

RIP my to-do list lol

But what can I say?

The writing and acting are brilliant.

Anyhow, in the show, Billy Bob Thornton plays the titular character...

A “landman” whose job is to secure the legal rights to whatever patch of land the oil company wants to drill on.

Naturally, his son has dreams of running an oil company one day too.

So after a short-lived stint working on one of his dad's crews, he starts cooking up his own plan for oil patch domination.

The play involves scooping up expired and low-value leases...

Bundling them together...

And flipping them to a bigger operator.

At one point, he's explaining the scheme to his girlfriend and drops this gem:

"The only way out of the patch IS the patch."

That resonated with me deeply.

Because I feel the exact same way about AI these days.

Do I want to spend the rest of my life building bots, , and trudging through the token swamp?

Heck no.

In fact, my goal is to put myself in a position where I can pivot to writing fiction and screenplays full time.

Sometime in the next 5-10 years.

That’s the next chapter.

But the only way I get there is by using AI to build the business that buys me that freedom.

That's the trade.

And I think a lot of people are still resisting that trade because they're hoping this whole thing will calm down and somehow turn out to be overhyped.

Personally, I doubt it.

For coaches, consultants, course creators, and entrepreneurs in general...

This AI wave is already starting to separate people who use it to duplicate and scale themselves…

From the people who still use it like glorified a search engine.

And I hate to break it to you, but…

The second group is gonna be cooked.

Not overnight...

But gradually, then all at once.

Because while they're still doing everything manually...

Somebody else (like me, and hopefully you too) is building systems...

Training machines to think like and with them…

And using THAT to buy back their time.
