True story:
A new article called “Something Big is Happening” went viral in the tech world last week.
It was written by a founder named Matt Shumer…
And compared the current moment in AI to the weeks before the pandemic…
Where a small group of people knew what was coming…
But the majority were busy going about their lives without a care in the world.
Totally oblivious to the coming tsunami on the verge of making landfall.
Which tracks with my experience so far in 2026.
Seeing what the newest AI models are capable of is both scary and exhilarating at the same.
They are going to disrupt a lot of industries.
