Black Friday is coming up fast.

So I’ve been helping one of my clients in the guitar niche map out a new promo he’s going to run for his signature program.

Now, typically, he sells this offer via sales calls because it’s pretty high ticket…

But for this upcoming promo, I suggested he put all the details in a Google doc instead.

Why?

Because when you're selling high-ticket coaching, consulting, or info products…

Google Docs often outperform traditional sales pages.

I know that may sound a wee bit counterintuitive…

Because most of us are inclined to believe that the more polished and professional something looks, the better it'll convert.

But that's not always true.

Especially when you're dealing with sophisticated buyers who've seen every trick in the book.

Truth is, a well-structured Google Doc feels more personal... and less "salesy" than a typical sales page.

It also appeals more to skittish prospects who don’t want to get on the phone with you.

Plus, Google Docs are easy to update on the fly.

And they’ve got a built-in social proof feature…

Since you can see when other people have the document open at the same time as you.

In other words:

They’re a mighty underrated sales asset.

Now, this doesn't mean sales pages are dead or that you should scrap your funnel.

But if you're selling coaching, consulting, or any other high-touch service…

Consider testing a simple Google Doc instead of obsessing over pixel-perfect landing pages.

You might be surprised by what converts better ;)
