Happy Thursday! ✌️

Hard to believe it’s the end of April already.

I dunno about you, but it feels to me like 2026 is hurdling by at ludicrous speed.

On that note:

I've been reflecting a lot lately on how AI has shifted the goalposts for entrepreneurs.

For instance:

Back just 1 or 2 years ago, I'd be happy if I could crank out an entire email sequence over the course of a few days or a week.

I'd do some research, outline it all, then write each email one by one.

I'd call that a productive week.

But now?

"Write email sequence" is just one of many tasks on my to-do list for a given day...

And my internal expectation is that I should be able to get it done in a couple of hours at most.

If I don't, I'm frustrated with myself.

The notion of taking 5-7+ days to write a single one out?

INCONCEIVABLE!

Ain’t nobody got that kinda time lol

But of course, that doesn't really make sense.

It's only because AI has warped my perception of what it means to be "productive."

A reality I have to push back on from time to time.

And I encourage you to do the same.

Because if you're not careful, you could find yourself feeling frustrated despite being more productive than ever.

Not to mention it's dangerous to conflate output with quality.

But that's a whole other bottle of tequila.

So consider this permission to cut yourself a bit of slack.

Because if you're engaging with AI tools and exploring new ways to save time, work faster, and learn new skills…

Whether it’s with generic AI like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini…

Or a specialized tool like EmailStoryselling.ai…

Then I daresay you're ahead of the curve.

Give yourself some credit for it :)
