One of the aspects of my upcoming African safari I’m most looking forward to is the chance to unplug.

I haven’t really taken a proper vacation this year…

Which is highly unusual for me.

Now, batching and scheduling my emails in advance is one thing.

But if I want to fully disconnect for 3 weeks…

Then I need to figure out what to do about my ad account.

Because I sure as heck don’t want to be checking Ads Manager every day while I’m out on game drives or trying to avoid being eaten alive by tsetse flies.

So as I was pondering this predicament…

That’s when the following idea popped into my head:

What if I let Claude manage my ad account while I’m in Africa instead?

Not only would this make for a pretty cool experiment…

It’s also the kind of setup I suspect many other people would be happy to pay for.

(assuming it works, ofc)

I’d been planning to put together a comprehensive Meta Ads course later this year anyway…

Now I’ve got a potentially fascinating way to frame the offer:

“Autonomous Meta Ads™”

Something to noodle on.

Anyhow:

This autonomous setup first has to prove itself while I’m on vacation.

I’ve spent the last couple of weeks building it out, setting up the constraints in terms of daily spend, when to cut vs when to scale, what metrics to look at, etc etc…

And what’s even cooler is:

It’s not just pulling in data from Ads Manager…

I’ve also got it wired up to:

- Stripe and PayPal (to confirm actual payments)
- Google Analytics (to validate real traffic numbers)
- And Microsoft Clarity (to analyze heatmaps and screen recordings)

So it can triangulate the signals from everywhere before making decisions.

Right now, it’s running in “shadow mode”...

Which means it prints a report in Slack for me twice a day, laying out what it *would* do…

Allowing me to evaluate its decision making before I leave…

And actually hand over the keys.

So far, so good.

I’m feeling cautiously optimistic.

Fingers crossed it’s not a bloodbath when I come back lol

Regardless, moral of the story is:

Becoming AI literate is no longer optional.

The list of possibilities it creates gets longer every day.

Even if you’re not a tech wizard.

The only limitation is your creativity.

That’s all I got for ya today, though.

Happy Wednesday ✌️

P.S:

If you’d be interested in getting the details on my autonomous ads setup, reply to this email with “ADS”.

That’ll help me gauge the level of interest.
