AI researchers at Harvard Business Review just coined a new term:
"Workslop."
It refers to low-quality AI-generated content that clogs up employee's lives and wastes their time.
On the surface, it looks polished.
Professional formatting... proper grammar... and mucho, mucho buzzwords.
But if you look closer…
It's like a piece of melba toast.
Totally devoid of taste, weight, or substance.
And here’s the funny part:
While the creator may think churning out this stuff makes them look smart and productive…
The end result is the opposite.
It makes the receiver realize you didn't bother to actually think it through.
You just hit "generate" and called it a day.
Truth is, the same thing applies to the emails most coaches, experts, and creators send their list.
They stuff their newsletters full of "how-to" content that looks valuable on the surface….
But it's just regurgitated information their subscribers could get anywhere.
It's polished... but empty.
Just another piece of worthless content in an already noisy inbox.
And subscribers are getting better and better at knowing when they’ve been “workslopped” lol
Think about it:
If virtually everything you share can be found on Perplexity, ChatGPT, or YouTube…
Why the heck would anyone stay subscribed to YOU specifically?
And the real irony is…
Most creators think this is how you "deliver value."
But instead, they're actually training their audience to expect their best for free…
While simultaneously failing to stand out from the crowd.
Meanwhile, the creators who are making daily sales from their list…
They're using storytelling to give subscribers a reason to care about THEM…
… not just the tIpS n TrIcKs 😜
That's what Email Storyselling is all about.
And why this methodology is your #1 secret weapon for winning in the inbox in 2025 and beyond.

P.S:
Next week, tickets will go on sale for a new live workshop I’m doing called:
“Insane Ideation”
Inside, I’ll be revealing how to generate 30 conversion-focused story ideas in 30 minutes without wasting time on market research or audience interviews.
Because not all stories are created equal.
So if you’ve ever struggled to come up with strong story ideas…
Failed to make sales from your list when the chips are down…
Or wished you could seamlessly connect the dots between your story and your offer without sounding salesy or sacrificing conversions…
Then you won’t want to miss this one.
Stay tuned for more :)
