True story:

I’m working with several 1-on-1 clients on list building funnels right now.

One of them is an extremely experienced marketer in his own right…

Who’s juggling client work and a new baby in addition to trying to get a new offer and funnel off the ground…

So, needless to say:

He’s busy AF lol

And he’s finding the prospect of creating offers, building out the funnel, and getting ads launched pretty daunting.

Frankly, I know the feeling.

It’s like staring up at the foot of Mount Everest.

Yet here’s the thing:

Perfectionism is the enemy of progress.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you launch.

In fact, trying to do so is typically a giant waste of time.

Because you don’t know if the first offer, sales page, or ads you test are gonna work…

And the results may force you to pivot.

So there isn’t much point in developing a 27-point business plan.

You’re better off getting something live then taking it one step at a time.

Case in point:

I used to spend hours and hours creating slide decks anytime I wanted to launch a new product or training.

(which I suck at, fwiw lol)

So it’d take me 5x longer than it should have.

Then if I wanted to update something, I'd have to go back and tweak like a dozen slides.

It became a huge pain in the behind.

Eventually, I switched to just using Google Docs.

Turns out, a clearly laid out Google Doc is just as effective.

Maybe even better because I can focus on the delivery instead of futzing around with the design or going from slide to slide.

What’s more:

Not one person complained when I made the switch.

So… moral of the story?

Done beats perfect.

Especially when you're trying to validate whether something's actually gonna sell.

Your first version doesn't need fancy slides or a million modules.

It just needs to exist.

And look, if you're reading this, there’s a good chance you’re doing the same with one project or another…

Whether it’s your list building funnel, welcome series, or simply getting an email out to your list every day.

Your audience and business don’t demand perfection…

… but they DO require consistency.

So quit fixating on the mountaintop…

And start putting one foot in front of the other.

This is how you build a compounding asset that creates optionality and lifestyle freedom.
