It’s official:

Yesterday, I wrapped up the launch of my new Email Storyselling Skill Stack offer.

The launch exceeded my expectations…

Both in terms of units sold and total revenue.

Which was pretty neat.

But regardless of how it did…

One thing I’ve always loved about launches is the insights that emerge from them.

So today, I figured I’d share 3 of my top takeaways with you.

Here goes:

***

1. Bump pricing is big profit lever

I’m a big fan of order bumps.

They get way more impressions than your upsells ever will.

So I find the more I have, the more money I make.

And this launch was no different.

There were 3 add-on Skills available at checkout for $100 each.

So you could cherry pick the one(s) you wanted.

But you could also grab all 3 for just $150.

And that “all of the above” bump ended up crushing it.

46% of buyers took it.

Which made a massive difference in the overall profitability of the launch.

2. Retargeting ads did way better than expected

I launched some low-budget retargeting ads just to try and stay in front of people throughout the launch…

… which ended up doing WAY better than I expected:

I spent $451.53 and got a 7.86 ROAS.

Now, that number is probably a bit inflated with Meta being eager to take credit for some sales that actually came from email…

But still.

They def drove some sales.

Something I’ll be doubling down on for the next big launch I do.

3. Always close with a bang

Anytime I tell someone to send multiple emails per day towards the end of a launch, they’re usually skeptical.

After all, if you’ve never done it before…

It can feel a bit uncomfortable to send more than one email per day.

Or receive the inevitable “how DARE you!” response from someone who thinks you email too much.

But in my experience, the juice is always worth the squeeze.

To wit:

42% of the total sales for this launch came in the last 48 hours.

And that’s because I sent 2 emails a day on Saturday and Sunday and 4 emails yesterday.

People love to procrastinate.

Sometimes, you gotta give em a push to get them off the fence.

There you have it.

3 of my top takeaways from a highly successful launch.

Now I’ve gotta dash to a dentist’s appointment to get an old filling redone…

Don’t want it falling apart while I’m on my 3-week African safari.

I already had that happen to me in Bangkok, which necessitated an emergency root canal.

Not fun!

Lol ✌️

Happy Tuesday

P.S:

Another reason to send multiple emails at the end of a launch…

People are BUSY!

They have other stuff going on.

So it’s easy for the offer to slip their mind.

And even if you do ramp up your frequency over the last few days…

Some people will still miss it.

As evidenced by some of the emails I got this morning like this one:

And this one:

Point is:

You’re doing your best buyers a favor by staying top of mind.

So don’t take your foot off the gas pedal :)

P.P.S:

If you were one of the ones who wanted to grab it, but missed the deadline…

I won’t be making any exceptions.

However…

I’ll make you a different offer:

Grab the Skill Stack for $500 here and I’ll throw in a free 45-minute coaching call.

Just send me an email after you buy to claim it.

I’ll honor this through till the end of the week.
