Common email mistake:

Assuming everyone on your list reads all of your emails and knows exactly what’s going on at all times.

In reality…

This couldn’t be further from the truth lol

Case in point:

I caught up with a CMO friend named Will yesterday.

One of his biggest clients is a dating coach.

Will runs all his ads, manages his list, and writes all his daily emails…

And several of Will’s friends are actually on this coach’s email list.

So they follow along with the stuff he writes.

One in particular is always commenting on the story or lesson from a recent email…

Which Will took to mean he was pretty tuned in.

Logical, right?

Turns out… not so much.

You see, during a recent course promo…

This friend told Will he didn’t want to buy the course because he’d rather go straight to coaching…

But if the course purchase could be credited towards coaching…

Well, then he might be interested.

The kicker?

THIS IS EXACTLY HOW IT WORKS!

What’s more:

Will told me he uses this as the CTA in at least one email per week.

Sometimes more.

How do you like them apples? Lol

Moral of the story is:

Your subscribers are much less aware than you think.

This is why it pays to repeat yourself…

Especially if you’re in the middle of a launch or time-limited promotion.

So don’t be afraid to hammer the key details again and again:

- Who it’s for
- What’s included
- How much it costs
- When the offer expires
- Etc etc

Nobody is going to get offended.

In fact, I’ll often copy-paste the same block of text in every launch or promo email just to make sure all my bases are covered.

As a wise person once said…

The first person to get tired of your marketing is you ;)

P.S:

Next week, I’m doing something special for Black Friday:

For the first time ever, I’m opening the doors to my brand new Email Storyselling AI tool.

This is my personal AI assistant that is trained on the exact email and ad writing frameworks responsible for $50m+ in sales for myself and clients.

And up until now, it’s only been available to community members and private clients.

But next week, you’ll be able to try it out yourself for just $1.

So if that sounds interesting…

Stay tuned for more info :)
