Happy Halloween! 🎃
Today is notable for two reasons:
1) The Blue Jays could win the World Series tonight
2) I’m dressing up for the first time in a loooooooooong time
Actually, come to think of it…
“Dressing up” may be a bit of a stretch lol
My plan is to go as Fester Addams, who — much like myself — has a shaved head and wears all black.
So the only real flourish to my “costume” will be some black eye shadow.
But hey - for someone who typically hates dressing up…
It still counts in my book 🤷♂️🤣
Anyway, onto today’s agenda…
I got the following question from a reader earlier this week:

In case you can’t see the image…
This person is asking about my approach to promotional cycles.
Such as when and how often to make offers.
It’s a great question…
One that I thought you’d also benefit from hearing my answer to.
So allow me to reveal my rationale:
First, I typically promote offers for about a week at a time.
This is enough time to make a dedicated push without forcing people to tune out.
Put another way:
If you’re promoting the same offer for weeks or months at a time, and someone decides they are NOT going to buy it…
(whether due to price, promise, timing, or any other reason)
They’ve closed the loop in their minds.
Which eliminates the need for them to keep reading your emails…
Because they know the finish line is the same every time.
Get it?
This is why I plan out my promotional cycles for a given month on that basis, rotating through different offers one week at a time - and sometimes including a week with no offer or CTA.
That way, I can keep things fresh in the inbox…
Even when I am promoting some of the same offers each month.
Case in point:
This week, I’ve been promoting my new 1-on-1 WhatsApp Coaching offer.
(which is now closed, btw - thanks to everyone who expressed interest and signed up!)
Up next is my latest workshop (The 7-Figure Ad Copy Codex), which will go on sale next week.
I’ll promote that for 8 days or so…
And once that wraps up, I’ll open the doors to the community for a few days.
Then I’ll likely take a week off promoting anything…
Before closing out the month with some kind of Black Friday sale.
Best part is:
I mapped all this out weeks ago.
Which makes it much easier to ideate and decide what I want to write about in advance…
Because I’ve got a box to “think into” each week.
Constraints are the secret to creative freedom.
Anyhow, that’s all I got for ya today though.
Enjoy your weekend :)

P.S:
My next live training goes on sale next week.
It’s called:
“The 7-Figure Ad Copy Codex”
Inside, I’ll be revealing the 7 ad copy frameworks I’ve used to drive 7+ figures in info sales with Meta Ads.
So if that piques your curiosity…
Then stay tuned for more details on Monday :)
